Subject: Noise

I can't believe you have a web site dedicated to this issue. Great!
I live in So. San Jose and lately we have noticed an increase in the
number of planes going overhead. They seem like they are lower, they 
are
definitely louder. In fact we have had to wait until the planes go 
past
before we can finish our conversations. It never used to be this way.
We have lived at this address for 10 years. There have been a couple 
of
occassions that even with the doors closed this summer we could not 
hear
the t.v.
My address is 144 Haverhill Ct., San Jose. 95139
What can we do to reduce or stop the increase in noise. My wife and I
have been feeling like prisoners forced to keep the doors and windows
closed to avoid the noise. Between the planes and the Garbage noise
San Jose has become a difficult place to live.
