Hello Fellow Warriors against Airport Noise, Pollution and Expansion, Your site is an inspiration. We are the Community Transportation Alliance out on Nantucket Island MA. Could someone in your group lead us to your source for air pollution data. Your charts were terrific. We are a National Historic Landmark 30 miles out to sea and 55 square miles with 85,000 + operations of just air taxis alone ea. yr., not counting the bigger boys and the private guys with their toys. And NOBODY wants to fly around the Island instead of over our heads. WE are eager to network with groups like yours. The other day at a working group meeting and AOPA rep. mentioned San Jose as a place where pilots are "paying attention". Is this true or PR hype? If you could shoot us a lead on pollution from aircraft research, we'd appreciate it. Good Luck at your upcoming meetings to thrawt growth and get your officials to wake up.
