As you know CAAP and ATRA joined forces to work on defeating Measure A.
The mayor called a special election in order to dismantle the Airport Traffic Relief Act.Citizens Against Airport Pollution and Airport Traffic Relief Alliance (ATRA) joined forces, as People Against Airport Traffic Jams, to insure that needed traffic improvements are done prior to airport expansion construction. New web site is at http://www.trafficrelief.org.
Unfortunately, Measure A did pass. As a result we have had new members to join CAAP and we have a new mission as follows:

To improve the quality of life through a cleaner, quieter, and safer airport, our focus will be to:
Be Politically active in support of efforts which improve transit, provide traffic relief, and reduce pollution and to act to enforce and preserve the airport curfew. We will also monitor and report progress on Measure A implementation as well as other airport related ordinances. We will continue to implement fund-raising activities to ensure that the above goals are met.
